Will my event require permits in Calgary?
Permit requirements depend on the size, placement, and use of the tent. The City of Calgary notes that tents under 60 m² may not require a building permit, while larger installations or clustered tents often do. We help determine your requirements and support the application process.
Can you supply engineered drawings, stamped documents, and code‑compliant plans?
Yes. For tents requiring detailed reviews, we provide engineered drawings and technical documentation that align with Calgary’s Building and Fire Code expectations for temporary structures.
Are there special rules if cooking equipment is placed inside the tent?
Yes. Tents containing commercial cooking equipment cannot qualify for certain permit exemptions and must meet additional fire‑safety and ventilation requirements. We design layouts that align with municipal and fire code standards.
